How to reduce Every Day Stress

How many of you have already heard of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)? Thankfully since I have been using and teaching EFT there has been an increase in awareness which I am so pleased about.

Used for over 5000bc it is an amazing tool and easy to learn.  Acupuncture without needles is one of the descriptions used to describe EFT, many of my clients describe it as amazing and unbelievable.

What can you use EFT for?

The saying goes ‘use it on everything’ which is true but most people think it can only be used for major events and therefore cannot think what to use it for.

I always encourage my clients to use it every day on the small things in their lives.  If used on the small things then big things have less chance of appearing.

  1. Some of the everyday things to tap on:

  2. Rushing to get out of the house in the morning.

  3. Feeling Overwhelmed

  4. Standing in a long line.

  5. Getting cut up while driving.

  6. Running out of gas.

  7. Kids being unruly

  8. Feeling nervous about an interview

  9. Boss putting you under pressure

  10. Forgot to pick up the dry-cleaning

These are just a few but you can get the idea when you think about what you go through on a day-to-day basis.

If you don’t deal with the small stuff on a day-to-day basis then everything builds up and you find yourself at peak stress every day.

One question I always ask my clients

‘What is your daily stress level, 0 being none and 10 being high’,

Most people will answer somewhere between 5 and 9.  That stress level, starting your day off, does not leave too much wiggle room for exploding into a fit of anger, panic attack, violence, depression, and so on.

My point is EFT is a great tool and when used on a daily basis as part of your normal routine you can keep your stress levels under 3 which is ideal for starting every day. Try it…….
